Here is what you will see when you open Gimp. Step 2: Select - File > Open
Click the Open button to begin your search for your image. Step 3: Select the image you wish to resize from your computer then click Open.
Find the file you wish to edit on your computer then click Open.
Your image will apear in the center window. Step 4: Select - Image > Scale Image
Select Scale Image from the Image tab.
Here is the Scale Image window when opened. Step 5: Type in your new image size then click scale.

Select Save As so that you can rename your resized image.
